Mass deportations are not just a political issue—they are a workplace issue. Immigrants make up 17% of the U.S. workforce, yet thousands are being forcibly removed, disrupting industries, businesses, and livelihoods. "White professionalism" is what I call the outdated norms in Corporate America that force people to assimilate at the expense of their authenticity. From hairstyles and speech patterns to even names, these standards silence individuality and alienate BIPOC employees. It’s time to call out these harmful practices and redefine professionalism to celebrate diversity, not suppress it.
